N1 Damper Overhaul Service

N1 EVOLUTION DAMPER EXCLUSIVE COMPLETE SERVICE ROUTINE

Through regular overhauls, the damper can retain factory-new performance characteristics and ensure extended service life.

	Before Overhaul Condition immediately after being brought in to us. Due to contamination, the unit will now be disassembled to inspect the degree of wear and damage to each component.
Replacement of Sliding Components To maintain baseline performance, all sliding components such as seals are replaced during overhauls, regardless of wear condition or presence of damage. These replacements are included in the standard service fee.
	Damper Fluid Replacement In addition to the sliding components mentioned above, the damper fluid is also replaced with new fluid during the overhaul.
Components Replaced in This Overhaul (Beyond Sliding Parts) Although the current condition may appear problem-free, each component will be reviewed individually as outlined below.
	Rod Piston (ROD PISTON) Although not immediately noticeable, scratches can be observed in the circled area. While the marks are minor, these scratches (grooves) can become a pathway for oil leakage, making replacement necessary.
Outer Case (CASE ASSY OTR UNDER) Impact marks are visible in the circled area, causing the case to lose its true roundness. In this condition, it may compress the cylinder and prevent proper stroke operation; therefore, replacement is required.
	Spherical Bearing (BEARING SPHERICAL) Although difficult to detect from the exterior, the resin liner that holds the inner pillow ball is worn, resulting in play. As this can also lead to abnormal noise and related issues, replacement is required.
Inverted Cylinder Although not a replacement part, even a heavily used and contaminated cylinder can regain a like-new finish through the overhaul process.
	After Overhaul This is the damper following parts replacement and reassembly. All wear components have been replaced, restoring performance to factory-new condition. Thanks to A’PEXi’s use of high-quality materials, the exterior also retains a like-new appearance.
